period, they may face certain pregnancy skin care problems. Some of these are
as follows:

occurs on cheek, forehead, nose or the upper lips. These dark and irregular
patches are because of increased hormones. They tend to fade away after the

be due to blood circulation and hormonal changes. In that case, you must
increase the consumption of Vitamin C and try to avoid crossing your legs so as
to reduce spider veins.
Varicose Veins: Pregnant women may face the problem of enlarged veins in the
legs. However, it can be reduced by doing light exercises, increased
consumption of Vitamin C and using tights or stockings before you get out of your
bed in the morning time. These veins get normal or vanish after delivery.
A pregnant woman is required to take proper rest and have proper sleep so as to
reduce pregnancy skin care problems. She must use proper skin care products in
accordance with the skin conditions. However, she should not use chemical
exfoliant products with AHAs, salicylic acid and glycolic acid. Rather she should
use skin care products with sufficient UV filters.
