Is Mary Kay makeup oil free?
I ordered some Mary Kay medium coverage foundation from a Mary Kay consultant and I want to know if it’s oil free. I have combination skin and cannot use makeup with oil, so I need to know if I should stick to buying it or not.
So, Mary Kay foundation…is it oil free?
It made me break out. It came in a little tube with a pink cap. The coverage was pretty good, but I paid for that in blemishes.
“Oil-free” in cosmetics-speak only refers to certain oils like lanolin and oleic acid, not all oils. An easy test is to rub some product between your finger tips and then run them under a tap to see how the water responds — if it slides right off and you can’t use plain water to break down the product quite a bit, it’s full of oil.
