You can save your money and put away your credit cards because I am going to share with you some common sense tips for anti aging skin care.

I have seen to many of these ads on TV or in magazines or on the internet trying to get you to buy this or that.

They are taking advantage of a natural weakness we all have and that is vanity.

Who likes to look old, not to many of us which is why the skin care market is booming. People will spend and do just about anything to look young again.

Here are some common sense tips to help reduce the effects of aging on your skin.

Tip 1

Limit your exposure to sun between the hours of 10am and 3pm. Doing so will reduce the effects of the suns radiation on your skin.

Have you ever noticed the skin of sun worshippers?  That golden bronze tan has consequences that will be paid back in a few years.

Tip 2

Limit or eliminate alcohol and tobacco products. If you drink more than one glass of wine a day the effects can be devastating on your skin. No to mention what smoking does to advance the aging of your skin cells. So put down that cigarette and save some skin cells.

Tip 3

Eat more raw fruits and vegetable. By consuming more raw fruits and vegetables and limiting your fast food intake you are feeding your body the natural ingredients that supply the energy to your body.

Tip 4

Get out and exercise, at least twenty to thirty minutes a day do some form of physical activity.  Whether you walk, run, swim or bike, whatever gets your heart rate up to at least sixty percent of your maximum heart rate for your age, preferably eighty percent of your targeted heart rate range would be ideal.

Remember though, to always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program and these are only recommendations for improving the quality of your skin.

Finally, if you have to invest money, find natural substances that actually help promote the bodies production of collagen and elastin. Avoid products that tout collagen and elastin as ingredients because they are ineffective.

By following these simple tips you will be on the road to younger looking skin in no time.
